General information about order delivery:You can order for any available date in the future. Advance orders will be stored in our system until the required date. We only deliver within the UK. We can deliver to any postal address in the UK including all of England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Orkney, Shetland and all of Scottish Highlands and Islands. Please note - We are unable to deliver to BFPO addresses. We do not deliver to Dublin and the Rep. of Ireland For orders in channel islands please allow enough time for date of delivery. Deliveries via courier/postal services cannot be delivered at specific times. All orders will be delivered during the working day. Delivery is not available on Sundays or public holidays, orders will be delivered on the next working day. To avoid problems or delays with delivery, please ensure that you have included the full address details, including accurate postcode of the intended recipient and telephone number, together with your daytime contact telephone number or e-mail address so that we can notify you in the event that any delivery problems are encountered.
Delivery
4.1 For flowers by post all items include delivery by Royal Mail First Class Post. Please allow 1-2 working days for delivery. We normally despatch flowers two days prior to the requested delivery date so they may arrive a day early. As we deliver by First Class Royal Mail we cannot deliver on Sunday or Bank Holiday's. Deliveries can take place up to 5pm Monday to Friday and up to 1pm on Saturday. We do not deliver same day.
4.2 We do not recommend courier or postal deliveries to hospitals or funerals
4.3We can deliver to any postal address in the mainland UK.
4.4 For deliveries around the globe your order must be received at least 3 days prior to the delivery date. 4U services ltd make every effort your order delivered on time and on the correct date. As we are operating in different time zones across the globe, we do not offer same day delivery services.
4.5 Please enter the full address including the postcode of the recipient. We will not be held responsible for items that are not delivered due to incorrect details.
4.6 The only information sent with the gift is the personal message card. We don't pass on any other details at all and don't send out an invoice or receipt, just the email confirmations.
4.7 Should the recipient be away at the time of delivery, a card will be left stating attempted delivery and will include details of how to collect them or arrange re-delivery.
4.7 in the case of delivery of food and perishable products, in the event receiver is not available at the delivery address, we will contact the recipient and will take necessary action to make the delivery possible, and order could be delivered to an alternative address i.e. next door neighbour in the event of a home delivery and will leave a message card to the receiver confirming the delivery and the name and address of the person the order has been delivered to. 4U services ltd will consider the order delivered and will not accept any liability of non delivery of the order.
4.8 Deliveries to large businesses, organisations, hospitals, universities, schools, university student accommodations, orders will normally be delivered to the main reception or post room. Delivery to the name person in some cases is not possible.
4.9 Orders delivered by post, for late and non delivery of the products the customer must make there claim directly to the royal mail.
4.10Except where stated, Standard Delivery is next day, and a charge of £5.50 will be applicable within the UK, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands, but please note, that at certain times of the year these prices can vary. If you request delivery to remote areas which are not normally delivered to by expressgiftservice you will be advised of any additional charges as soon as possible upon receipt of your order.
Cake Deliveries in UK
Sponge cakes are available in 3 flavours Chocolate sponge cake, Coffee Sponge, and Chocolate and Orange Sponge cake. Better value bigger size with half of the price. It tastes better and made fresh Sponge's journey from us to your fork:
Our Fresh Sponge cakes are available for delivery from Tuesday Friday. Means if you order before 12pm on Monday your order will be delivered on Tuesday by 6pm.
Generously portioned our 7’’ sponge cakes are 1.4kg of Sponge loveliness
Your order will be received, prepared to your specific requirements, then sent by courier and the cake delivered to your door the next day.
Please store out of the fridge at room temperature so the Sponge is light and middle nice and soft, perfect for eating!
Our sponges have a 10 day life therefore you will have approximately 9 days from the time of receiving your cake delivery to devour. You can freeze our sponge cakes for a maximum period of 3 months only. Please email us at contact@expressgiftservice.com if you need any advice.
Our cake delivery service:
Due to the nature of the product and as being made fresh daily Deliveries are only available from Tuesday Friday. We do not deliver on Monday and Saturdays/ Sunday. If you place your order on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday your order will be delivered on Tuesday.
Your cake delivery will need to be signed for and please check it's in perfect condition.
Please make sure someone will be at the cake delivery address on the day specified to accept the cakes delivered.
UK mainland cake deliveries are by UK Mail courier, which is fully traceable.
We can make a cake delivery abroad, but at customers own risk and priced depending on destination/weight - please call for a price or mail at contact@expressgiftservice.com
