Fruit smoothies you must make!

November 17th, 2015

If you dislike eating fruits as a part of your breakfast then switch to smoothies. You can always add a little chocolate to the smoothie and make it delicious. Though we all know how incredibly good fruits are for the health, some people simply hate eating fruits. If you know someone, who is not a fan of fruits then do send them fruit baskets with all these smoothie recipes!

  1. Strawberry and yogurt smoothie – It is no surprise that yogurt and strawberries both are great for the health. To make this breakfast drink, all you require are fresh strawberries cut and fresh yogurt. You can make this in 2 minutes, and if you want, you can add a little chocolate sauce on the top. Do not mix it in with the recipe otherwise it could taste a little off.
  2. Mango and avocado smoothie – If your child is a fan of mangoes, then this can be a great recipe! Add in mango pieces and few small pieces of avocado. Keep the avocado less so that the taste is not too prominent. Keep increasing the amount of avocadoes day by day once your child is used to the taste or starts liking it. You can also add few dices of mangoes on the top if you have added too many avocadoes in the recipe.
  3. Orange and banana smoothie – Banana smoothies are quite famous, but if you want to add a rich source of Vitamin C in the recipe, add in oranges. Remove the seeds of the oranges before you make the smoothie. Also, let bananas dominate the dish so that the oranges don’t make it too tangy to drink. Cut small pieces of bananas and place them in the smoothie.
  4. Blueberries, cherries, oranges and yogurt smoothie – Now this one is quite the nutritional one. Take fresh blueberries, cherries, oranges and yogurt. Combine all these in a bowl so that they are mixed well with the yogurt. Throw in a little chocolate sauce if your child or you dislike this combination. Keep the sugar levels less with this one because if the fruits are sweet, you wouldn’t need sugar. Put this in your mixer and drink it fresh every day. You will thank us later!
  5. Raspberry and beetroot smoothie – This is yet another healthy smoothie that you must have. Add fresh raspberries and boiled beetroots to the mixer and keep going until it mixes well. You can add a little vanilla ice-cream for the sweet factor in the smoothie. The vanilla part is totally optional. Also, serve this with a spoon of Nutella on the top. This combination might sound weird but trust us; it is healthy to the core. If you do not like the taste of it, you can always add some chocolate or any other favourite fruit to make it healthier and tastier.

You can mix and match the smoothie recipes in any way you like. Make sure you put in at least two healthy ingredients to make it perfect for breakfast. Smoothies are a great way to get regular nutrients in the body.
